/ August 20, 2012I was at the Eucharistic Congress in Atlanta this year (missed Fr Barron’s talk. Drat!). It was truly awesome — just like he described it. Beautiful display of faith and communion with the Church. I don’t remember how many different nationalities were represented there, but I believe there were more than 30. Like Fr Barron said in the video, there were thousands of people present. Multiple lines of people going to confession; some priests I know spent the better part of 2 days hearing confession. And there were not just a few priests. My brother, who does not practice is faith much, came with us and was awestruck at the spectacle of thousands and thousands of people coming together to celebrate their faith in the Eucharist. I think he had a small conversion.
