  1. I met a Nestorian once. He was a classmate of mine in an upper-level summer Latin course in NY.

    I was surprised when I found out he was Nestorian, because I did not know there were still any around (shows my ignorance). Real nice guy, though. Super-intelligent and morally solid through and through.

    Now I see there’s roughly 1 million of them in the world. I guess the odds were that I should eventually meet up with one some day, and actually know about it, if I talked to enough people.

  2. I don’t know much about Nestorianism at all. Some interesting denominations here to learn more about.
    I learned from a novel I read that the Quakers originated in England. Fascinating. Since reading this I’ve been on the look-out for Quaker Rooms. They aren’t obvious if you are unaware of their existence. I have become aware of Christian Scientology buildings as well. Mostly because of the press reports regarding famous Scientologists.
    I noticed that the ‘Free Church’ is not listed here. Any thoughts about why not?
